Saturday 20th June, 3pm
Victorian water closets and London’s sewers, the importance of art and culture to the world, the impact of the digital revolution on the way art and culture is now consumed, the future of Brighton’s own Hippodrome and the use of art and culture in healthcare – all these and more were covered in a lively and witty conversation between Sir Peter Bazalgette, Chair of Arts Council England and Simon Martin, Brighton resident and Artistic Director of Pallant House in Chichester at the annual In Conversation event held in St Michael’s on a cool June Saturday afternoon.
Some 75 Friends and guests helped to raise the temperature inside the church and enjoyed tea and fabulous cakes.
